First meeting of the Working Group on Public Archaeology
4 September 2013, 15:00
As announced in the last TEA, during this year’s EAA Meeting in Plzen we will celebrate the first meeting for the new EAA WG on Public Archaeology. It will take place on 4 September at 15:00 in the room EU 106 (ground floor at building 1 of the Annual Meeting venue).
We are looking forward to discuss the strategy for the group in the upcoming years, building a network of professionals dedicated to public archaeology. In the list of ideas to share we have; possibilities of projects, collaboration and funding, practice standards, definitions, lobbying and any other issue of your interest.
On Thursday, 5 September, from 8:30, we will share the conclusions and continue the debate during the session: “Public Archaeology from the ground up” at room UU 407 in building 2 (4th floor).
